This summer both Ms. Kearns and I attended a week long computer training. The training was a great experience, specifically because it helped us to feel comfortable with using technology in our classroom. We learned to use Excel, Powerpoint, a Smartboard, Webquests and search engines. We also read and discussed several topics such as internet safetly, educational software, when and when not to use technology, and web guided projects for students.

Hello Families,

We are excited about the upcoming school year and it is fast approaching! In the fall, Ms. Kearns will be teaching the science and history curriculum and I will be teaching the language arts curriculum. Both of us will be sharing the responsibility of teaching math to the students.
